Charlotte FemmeFest 2010 is a celebration of music, art, culture and community designed to provide a showcase for female artists and a forum in which to inform and empower the women of our communities. We can all embrace the talents and resources available to us, regardless of gender!

Music is an important part of our creative community and we look forward to sharing and experiencing a wide variety of musical genres from folk to hip-hop, americana to indie-rock - check out the current artist roster here!

FemmeFest aims to reach, inspire, and strengthen our cultural community with the work of underrepresented female voices throughout the region and beyond. In addition, FemmeFest will continue to assist non-profit organizations that serve the women and children in our community.

WHAT TO EXPECT AT CHARLOTTE FEMMEFEST!

2010 press:

"We're all for a display of cultural girl power—especially when it's being harnessed for a great cause. This festival brings together artists, musicians, filmmakers, and writers from around the city and country to not only pay tribute to the many fabulous females who contribute to the arts, but also to raise money to support Center of Hope, a local homeless shelter for women and children. Rock on, ladies. Rock on..." - Charlotte Magazine
